synopsis

rómulo's quiet routine in rio de janeiro changes overnight when an accident starts a wave of absurd events. far from there, orlando, his twin brother and rare works dealer tries to buy the book of a brazilian student with financial problems. the twins' lives will be on a collision course with the arrival of a mysterious manuscript.

process

as the music composer for this feature film, i faced the challenge of creating electronic music that seamlessly blended the local scenes in both brazil and portugal, where the two main characters reside. my primary task was to compose music for the band in which the protagonist is a member, while also crafting additional music to complement key scenes such as parties that play a crucial role in advancing the storyline.

collaborating closely with the director and production team, i focused on capturing and enhancing the mood and tone of each scene through my compositions. to achieve this, i conducted extensive research and experimentation to find just the right electronic sound that would capture and convey both the personality and vibe of each scene while blending both contemporary brazilian and portuguese musical elements.
